Treating as an equal

Several thoughts that I have had recently, but have not written yet is why do some churches discriminate against some members. I have had this problem since my freshmen year in college because my church does not accept the fact that a Baptist attends a Wesleyan school. I have tried to tell them that our school is similar to Bob Jones, but not as strict with the rules. Our policies are not as strict, but the rules are enforced and do have consequences if broken. My high school year the church was highly accepting of me, but when I was accepted to Southern Wesleyan their attitude of me changed dramatically. The only time they show acceptance to me is when I come home for short breaks and in my opinion that is only because they do not want to lose membership. This is all I have to say for now and if anyone has any opinions please comment on them.

I know I haven't posted in a while so here is a recap of what has been going on in my life. Our may term missions trip has been cancelled because our college missionary student is not in Azerbaijan right now. I have been somewhat busy, but I have been telling myself that whenever I start to feel stressed out over something to just put it down and come back to it. I found out that my friend from Clemson has only moved off campus and he is still helping out with A.L.I.V.E. I have now started to plan my 21st birthday coming up in less than two months. I'll post later since it is late.
